Philanthropy
LIDIS has a long tradition of social responsibility and philanthropy.
LIDIS has in the past proudly supported two institutions and will continue to support organisations that provide a great service to society.
The Sydney Children’s Hospital
In 1998 the LIDIS Group sponsored a ward at the Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick, which specialises in treating children with ‘normal childhood illness’ including isolation patients and children with infectious diseases. Each year, the LIDIS infectious diseases ward treats and cares for thousands of children with asthma, chest infections, gastroenteritis and meningitis, to rare tropical diseases such as dengue fever and ross river fever.
The Go Fund
A collaboration of the Royal Hospital for Women and the Garvan Institute to research ovarian cancer.
